What do you like best about the product?
Implementing and integrating the software with SAP is remarkably straightforward, making the process smooth and efficient. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At Stanmore Resources, we’ve experienced firsthand the value that Mili brings to our operations. The platform has proven to be a game changer in how we manage materials and inventory. Mili makes it simple to catalogue new materials, saving us significant time and money. Easy to identify materials using the search tool has reduced free text spend, while increased use of cataloged materials has lowered both risk and cost across our business. Improved inventory visibility means less downtime and reduced operational costs. By reducing duplicate material creation, we’ve avoided unnecessary purchases of items already cataloged and delivered real cash savings. Mili has also helped us reduce surplus inventory and maintain cleaner material master data without relying on external parties. This puts data ownership and control back in our hands. Material extension capabilities have driven process improvements for our work management teams and further reduced free text spend. Accurate lead times and trusted availability dates have supported maintenance planning and optimised working capital. As our teams grow to trust the data, operational efficiencies naturally follow.
What do you like best about the product?
Mili has allowed Wilmar Sugar to make a step change in the process of cataloguing and stock level determination for our MRO inventories. The ability to link in a criticality assessment and lead time review to support the determination of ROP/ROQ was a deciding factor in implementing the software. But the best thing about Mili has been the support of the Lexin team. They have taken every step to ensure the experience and outcomes we were after are successful and made extensive changes to ensure the integration of Mili through BTP worked seamlessly. My team are now using Mili extensively having completed in excess of 3500 ROP/ROQ reviews and over 7000 lead time reviews in the past 9 months, resulting in a reduction of inventory levels of over $2.2M.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mili is assisting us in managing the data for all our MRO spares throughout their entire lifecycle, starting from when they are first entered into inventory and continuing all the way to obsolescence. Mili has enabled us to halt a five million dollar per annum increase in our inventory and has set us up for reductions after only one year of use. With the lead time management tool, we are more confident in our ability to manage lead time risk allowing us to make more informed decisions on what inventory is required to cover this risk. Mili has enabled us to have fact-based discussions with our Engineering and Operations functions and takes the emotion out of the decision-making process.
